Chris has been serving as pastor of ARBC since October of 2003.  His primary ministry interests are in the area of preaching and worship.  He and his wife, Heather, have two daughters, Ashlyn and Addison.

Chris is a graduate of Furman University, Wake Forest University graduate school, and Duke Divinity School.  He is currently working on his doctorate in worship studies at Northern Baptist Seminary.
